Scene ON — Community Guidelines

Welcome to Scene ON! We're all about helping people create and enjoy unforgettable experiences. To keep our community fun, welcoming, and safe, we ask you to follow these simple but critical guidelines. These rules apply to all parts of the platform — your content, behaviors, and interactions.

1. Be Respectful & Kind

  • No harassment, hateful speech, or bullying of any kind.
  • Do not threaten or encourage violence.
  • Do not share personal or sensitive information of others without consent.

2. Keep Content Appropriate

  • No obscene, sexually explicit, or graphic content.
  • Under-18s must not be exposed to adult or explicit material.
  • Do not post content that glorifies self-harm, gore, or violence.

3. Don't Promote Illegal or Harmful Behavior

  • No coordinating or promoting criminal activity or extremist content.
  • No scams, fraud, or deceptive actions.
  • No sale or promotion of controlled or harmful items.

4. Respect Intellectual Property

  • Share only content you own or have rights to.
  • Don't reproduce or distribute copyrighted or trademarked material without permission.

5. No Spam or Unwanted Advertising

  • Do not send unsolicited messages or mass invites.
  • No using bots or automation to manipulate engagement or advertising.

6. Play Safe at "Scenes" Events

  • Every event ("Scene") is organized by users.
  • You attend at your own risk.
  • Scene ON is not responsible for injuries, disputes, or damages at any event.

Enforcement & Reporting

If you break our rules—or if others report you—we may:

  • Issue a warning
  • Remove your content
  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • In serious cases, contact law enforcement or escalate further

If you see content or behavior that violates these rules, please report it to us immediately via the app.

Moderators & Their Role

Our moderators help uphold these guidelines. They:

  • Lead by example and treat everyone fairly.
  • Enforce the spirit—not just the letter—of the rules.
  • Are trained to handle complex or subjective situations with judgment and care.
